From May 4–8, participating AMF centers across the country are opening the lanes for teachers, professors, and school staff with a laid-back evening built around you and the people you bring along.It's simple. Bring your school ID, bring your family or a few friends, and spend a couple of hours doing something that feels good. No setup, no stress, no test to grade.
What's included at Educators Night
The offer is straightforward. Every educator with a valid school ID gets two hours of free bowling, free shoe rental, and passed refreshments while supplies last. Door prizes and giveaways happen throughout the night, and every educator heads home with a stack of exclusive coupons to share with students — a nice touch for birthdays, family bowling trips, or a thoughtful classroom reward.Lanes fit up to six bowlers, so there's plenty of room for a spouse, the kids, or a handful of fellow teachers. Our full laneside menu is open the whole night if anyone in your group wants to add pizza, a burger, or a cold drink to the evening. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed — bumper lanes are available for younger bowlers, the music is at a kid-friendly volume, and the staff is ready to help you settle in and enjoy the night without a lot of fuss.
Bringing the family along
This is a night you can absolutely bring the kids to. Most teachers are also parents, and Educators Night at AMF is built with families in mind. Bumper lanes help the little ones stay in the game, and our arcade is right there if anyone needs a break between frames. The whole evening is low-key and approachable — no velvet ropes, no dress code, no learning curve.K–12 teachers and college or university faculty with current valid ID are all eligible. Bring the ID to the front desk, introduce yourself, and we'll get you set up on a lane. Participating centers run different days within the May 4–8 window, with varying times, so check your local center ahead of time for the exact date and time. Walk-ins are welcome based on lane availability — arriving earlier in the evening is a smart move, especially if you're bringing younger kids who might have an earlier bedtime.
How AMF works with schools all year
Educators Night is a great starting point, but we partner with schools well beyond one week in May.
