So this is my home bowling alley. I go to League on Mondays. Was able to make some great friends joining the league. Get a nice discount if you join league and want to get better with your bowling game. $2 games. Discounted food. Also, food is pretty good no cap. Personally think the best hours to go are Saturday, Sunday for their deal like 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 or during the week about 8:00. The staff here is 12 out of 10. Every one of them. Let's see Sam Debbie Christian Andre and AARON the goat. Can't promise you that you're lane is going to be expeditiously fast but the staff has got you. This is AMF we're talking about here. Give em some leniency. They'll take care of you. I would take this AMF over Huntsville any day because of staff and at least the house balls are decent unlike Huntsville.. they like swiss cheese. But yeah, had a little extra time before bowling and wanted to give props where props is deserved. AMF Decatur is the spot!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 STARS — Debbie Clemons Is Absolutely AMAZING! I visited AMF River City Lanes in Decatur, Alabama, yesterday, and I have to say, Debbie Clemons in the snack bar deserves some serious recognition! First of all, Debbie made me hands down the BEST cookie I have ever eaten in my life! I'm not exaggerating. It was absolutely incredible! But as amazing as that cookie was, Debbie's customer service was even better. She was genuinely one of the kindest, friendliest, and most welcoming employees I have ever encountered anywhere. You can tell when someone truly cares about the people they're serving, and Debbie is one of those rare individuals who goes above and beyond to make someone's day special. Employees like Debbie are what make a business stand out. She turned a simple trip to the bowling alley into an experience worth talking about! To the management at AMF River City Lanes: Debbie Clemons is an absolute treasure! Employees like her are hard to find, and she deserves r

Older bowling alley with 20ish lanes and a retro look to it. They serve food, beer, and have a little arcade. Went with my wife on Sunday around noon, and paid for unlimited bowling for $12 a person. From the sounds of it, this place runs a lot of bowling specials so it’s worth it to call ahead and ask. Our server was very polite and professional. Will definitely come back!

Love this place & the atmosphere! My family & I always choose here for our Family Nights! Not only do we enjoy the fun of bowling, but we love the food and drinks too, especially the pizza! We also love that we can play pool and our son can enjoy few arcade games. Management & staff are absolutely amazing & super friendly & on top of things! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a awesome, fun, & friendly environment to enjoy your night!

What a wonderfully nostalgic place to go and have fun! I have been going to this bowling alley since I was a kid. So many memories have been created here for me, including a birthday party with a signed bowling pin from all my friends, which I still have. Visiting tonight by myself was absolute fun for lack of better words! The manager, Aaron, was top notch management. These people are friendly, they are honest, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Highly recommend!
