Try league bowling for free at our League Open House

If you’ve ever thought about joining a bowling league but weren’t sure where to start, this is your chance to try it out.

From April 12–19, AMF is hosting a League Open House at select locations nationwide. It’s a simple, welcoming way to experience league bowling, whether you’re brand new or already familiar with the game.

Guests can enjoy 2 hours of free bowling, including shoe rental, along with food and drink specials during the event.

It’s an easy way to step onto the lanes and see what league play is all about.

No matter your skill, there’s a league for you

League bowling is designed to be accessible.

You don’t need to be an experienced bowler to join. Many leagues are built around fun, consistency, and social interaction rather than competition.

At the League Open House, you’ll see how leagues bring people together:

  • Groups bowl on a regular schedule

  • Players support and encourage each other

  • The experience is structured but still relaxed

It’s a great way to meet new people while enjoying the game.

Roll into your first league

If you’re new to league bowling, the Open House makes it easy to get started.

Leagues are simply organized groups that bowl together weekly or on a set schedule. They’re designed to be approachable, even for beginners.

During the event, you’ll be able to:

  • Try bowling in a league-style setup

  • Learn how league schedules and teams work

  • Ask questions and get guidance from staff

There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to learn and have fun.

If you’re planning to bring family or friends along, you can also explore AMF parties and events for additional group options.

Serious bowlers, this one’s for you

For more experienced players, the League Open House is a chance to reconnect with the competitive side of bowling.

League play offers:

  • Consistent lane conditions, including freshly prepared lanes

  • Opportunities to improve your average and track progress

  • A structured environment for competitive play

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about programs like PBA League Bowler Certification, which adds another level of recognition and connection to the sport.

It’s also a great way to meet other bowlers and find a league that matches your skill level.

Food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere

The League Open House is designed to feel social and welcoming.

During the event, guests can enjoy:

  • Whole cheese or pepperoni pizza specials

  • $4 Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Light

  • $5 Long Island iced teas

It’s an easygoing environment where you can bowl, grab a bite, and spend time with others.

You can also preview additional options on the AMF menu before your visit.
